Whats Happening!

Plan Your Visit:

Grass Roots Farms Pumpkin Patch is located just four miles west of Atwood, Kansas.  Please plan for two miles of dirt road driving to get to our location.  Check our Facebook page for announcements regarding inclement weather or road conditions.  In the event Grass Roots has to modify hours or any event, an announcement will be posted to Facebook immediately..

Gate fee covers all activities, games and attractions.  Face painting is available 11-3 weekends for additional charge.  Please note face painting is cash only.  Petting zoo feed may be purchased for twenty-five cents, bring your quarters for the machines!  Concessions and drink stand are available.  The patch Marketplace hosts a variety of pumpkins, gourds, ornamental corn, mums, and goodies for purchase. Grass Roots Farms accepts cash and credit cards at the gate, concession and drink stand, as well as the marketplace.

No outside food or drink are permitted on Grass Roots Farms grounds.  Concession and drink stands are available for guests. 

Service pets welcome.

Breastfeeding mothers have access to a private barn, please look for signage or find a volunteer on grounds for details.

Port-A-Potties available.

We strive to make all aspects of the patch handicap accessible.

Field Trips

School and homeschool groups are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays during October.  First come, first serve on date reservation.  Tours are from 9:00-1:00, please have students pack a sack lunch.
